I have the above listed samsung french door fridge. They said you will need to replace the mullion flap piece. I stopped into my go to appliance repair shop to ask about what might be needed to repair the problem with my refrigerator door.

If when you open the left hand door the mullion flap. Fridge was delivered in june 2019. Nothing seems to reliably work to stop it opening closing door pushing ice water dispenser buttons tried everything i can think of. This appears to be a common long standing samsung problem but haven t found a fix online.

The problem is not with the door or the door hinges itself. Appears to be wire harness issue. Cost would be 250 300 with part labor and service. Periodically the ice maker flap in the door will cycle continously opening and closing.
